AI credits
Metrix AI usage is metered in credits. Every plan that includes AI comes with a weekly allowance, and you can buy more if you run out before it resets.

The allowance resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Unused weekly credits do not carry over — the balance goes back to the full allowance rather than stacking.
A short question costs very little. Long conversations, deep research and work that reads a lot of your position data cost more, because the assistant is processing more.
Topping up
If you use the week's allowance, you can buy a one-time top-up:

Purchased credits never expire. They sit in your balance and are only spent once the weekly allowance is used up, so buying a pack early does not waste it.
Keeping usage down
- Start a new conversation for a new topic. A long thread carries its history into every turn, so the same question costs more at message 50 than message 5.
- Ask for what you need. "Deep research" style requests cost considerably more than a direct question.
- A conversation is capped at 200 messages; past that, start a new one.
