Metrix

Refreshing your data

Metrix indexes your wallets in the background, so position data is normally already there when you open Track or Portfolio. You can also force a refresh when you have just made a move on-chain and want it reflected straight away.

How often data updates

Refreshing on demand is rate limited per plan, because a rescan reads a lot of chain data.

Solana is slower on the higher tiers because its position data is more expensive to read. If the refresh button is unavailable, you are inside the cooldown — it becomes available again once the window passes.

When a position is missing

A refresh re-reads the wallet and picks up positions opened since the last sync. If something is still missing afterwards, the usual causes are:

  • The position is on a chain or protocol Metrix does not index yet. Coverage is per exchange and per network, not blanket.
  • The position is held by a wallet you have not added. Metrix only sees the addresses you track, not everything a browser wallet holds.
  • It is very new. A position opened moments ago may not be visible to the data sources yet.

If a position is on a supported exchange and network, belongs to a tracked wallet, and is still missing after a refresh, that is worth reporting — see the FAQ for how to reach the team.

Price alerts

Alerts are checked continuously in the background rather than on the refresh cycle, so you do not need to keep the app open for one to fire.
